All pre manufactured buildings sold by MR Buildings are DCA compliant.  We have never sold nor will we ever sell any manufactured buildings without a DCA certificate.

Currently, kit buildings are not addressed in the DCA compliance regulations.  However, MR Buildings looks out for the consumer by taking a proactive stance in self regulation.

We have gone the extra mile to pre-engineer all of our kit buildings.  If and when the state laws change to include kit buildings in the DCA compliance rules, we will be ready because we have already done our homework for you.

We can accommodate the do-it-yourself handyman by selling him only what he/she needs to construct his buildings.

MR Buildings is a custom steel building kit manufacturer.  We are not in the construction business, therefore we are not a licensed contractor.  However, we help you control costs by separating the cost of materials from labor.  You are welcome to provide your own labor, builder or contractor to assemble one of our kits.  We can also make available kit assemblers familiar with our kits or provide a licensed contractor for your larger building needs requiring permits.

We will gladly work with your custom needs.  Check out our photo gallery for differences in styles and component options.  We will do our best to accommodate your custom desires.

Our building kits can be assembled on skids for portability and/or on concrete pads as real property improvements.  Our pre-engineered drawings accommodate sizes to 30x60x10.

We sell kits at various levels of construction: 

• Raw materials precut for the do-it-yourself handyman or contractor;
• Pre-assembled framed walls for those who just want to connect 7 large, but manageable modular wall "pieces" to quickly erect the framing. (2 people needed for assembly).
• Pre-assembled walls with steel siding (optional R10 moisture barrier between the siding and framing studs) for the old fashioned "barn raising" (team of 3 or more people required depending on size). 
• Completely assembled DCA compliant state certified buildings delivered to your home site for those who have enough clearing for a truck delivery.  Usually 2 ft more in width than the width of the building and 14 ft of vertical clearance is needed for a prefabricated building. 
• Custom build on site buildings as a turn key operation for an additional labor only charge for those with no access for building deliveries.
• Free site surveys for local customers to determine access and ground contour before you commit your dollars to eliminate costly surprises.

Whatever the level of comfort for you to have your own building, we can work with you to get it. 

Our kits encourage you to save more by doing more assembly yourself.  It's not rocket science.  If you can use an electric drill and follow direction, you most likely can put our building kits together.
